passive aggressive behavior

I appreciate the information from this book. It has given insight and definitely helped with understand a few people I know who exhibit these same types of behaviors. I was never able to exactly pinpoint what was going on with these relationships but that I always left feeling so frustrated, mad, and confused. It nearly drove me insane. But after reading this... OMG! It described their (the people I know) behaviors perfectly. I no longer feel so confused but more relieved knowing I can finally see what the heck is going on. (-this behavior really is the perfect crime without definite evidence. If you say something without proof, it makes you look like the crazy one.) I'm definitely going to try out some of these helpful steps. Being around passive aggressive people can literally make you go madddd...

I was disappointed. I thought it would give true pointers and tips for situations like when passive aggressive ppl try to manipulate you with the silent treatment and deny covert things they do but it wasn't in here. I really didn't receive any new knowledge and it seemed as if the writer was off in their basic definition/description of passive aggressive ppl. I do not recommend his book to those that want more than an overview.

Joan Saslow is the author of a number of textbook series for adults and young adults, including "Ready to Go," "Workplace Plus," and "Literacy Plus," She was also the Series Director of "True Colors: An EFL Course for Real Communication," and of "True Voices," an EFL video course. Ms. Saslow's special interest is in distinguishing the needs of the EFL and ESL learner and creating materials appropriate for each.
