Carl Randolph has written a classic...move over Dale Carnegie.

No matter what business you are in, whether as an employee or a business owner, people are what makes the business go. We all are in the people business.
Learning to talk to people and "break the ice" is what this book is all about. With years of network marketing under his belt and having built teams of thousands of people Carl gives us his insight and knowledge of how to open up a conversation with strangers and than build a relationship so they become friends. As Carl says so often in the book, "People do business with people they know, like and trust because they don't care how much you know until they know how much you care."
Whether you are a introvert and terrified to talk to people or an extrovert where everyone is your friend this is a wonderful book full of stories and insight of how to learn and hone the skill of meeting new people.

Carl has put together a masterpiece! His logic and approach to expressing the step by step process of meeting new people has completely won me over. Personally, I have always been somewhat of a "social butterfly" but "How To Make Contacts and Win Friends" gave me the easy to read, simple refresher guidelines needed to stay on top of my game. Most importantly, I have passed several copies along to friends and teammates; some not as blessed as I with the gift of gab and I have personally observed marked improvements and increased self confidence in their approach to their business and everyday life in general. It's a very easy and uncomplicated read

This book was shared with me to read by a co-worker. It's a very easy and uncomplicated read. You may at first think that the content is what you already know but as you continue to read you'll pick up on some good techniques. It's also a refresher for those key things that we so easily forget are important. I think this is a good book for someone starting a new business or for someone who's trying to get into the arena of networking. Even if you think of yourself as a bit of a "wall-flower" this book would be a good starting point to help you interact. Overall this was a good read.
